Description
This is a vintage original mid-century milk glass light fixture. A friend bought a house built in 1963 and I replaced the original original kitchen/hall/dining lights for him. This is one that I removed and it was fully functional before I took it down.Dimensions:
this pendant style hangs about 20" from the ceiling
the fixture portion is about 13" H and the current chain length portion is 5" (5 links)
fixture width of the metal is 9.5"
main globe: diameter at top opening = 4.25", at narrowest = 3.25", at widest = 7.5", and at bottom opening = 6.5"
bottom decorative glass piece/finial: widest diameter is 3.25"
Please see pics for condition, but here are some details:
metal is traditional brass - I wiped off some basic grime but otherwise did not polish or clean it since some people like original patina (buyer can choose how much cleaning to do)
original tag is still on
has original wiring so you will likely want to rewire - you could then customize chain length. I could rewire for you (I had to do it on the 3 light chandelier) but that would cost extra and you would have to specify chain length (it takes time and some extra supplies).
PLEASE MESSAGE ME FIRST BEFORE PURCHASING IF YOU NEED ME TO REWIRE.
both pieces of milk glass are fully intact with no chips/cracks/damage
I will disassemble the bottom finial so I can separate all the glass from the metal in shipping and pack safer
OTHER LISTINGS FOR MATCHING FIXTURES: there is one hanging 3 light chandelier and a pair of flush mount fixtures
if you are looking for matching pieces. These match exactly in shade style and metal color but are not exact matches in style/shape as each varies a bit. It would likely be best to ship each fixture separately however so you would not likely see any combo shipping advantage.
Buyer pays shipping. I tried my best to estimate the packing situation needed to keep glass shades apart from the metal and I'm trying to err on the high side so I can refund any overage rather than have to try invoicing for any additional.
Thanks for looking! Use Contact Seller for questions.
I have made best efforts to describe and photograph so that the description is clear and complete, but you need to ask questions prior to bidding/buying if you aren't sure about something
Buyer pays shipping - I believe in charging actual shipping, so I have used ebay's estimate
SALES TAX - if sales tax is required then ebay collects it upon final payment (I have no control over this)
If you would prefer a different shipping method OR NEED COMBINED for multiple items then contact me before making payment.
I'm just selling my stuff, not doing this for a living with an online store, so I'm not accepting refunds. Of course the exception to this is if you truly feel the item is defective or not as expected. In that case absolutely contact me so I have an opportunity to remedy.
I will do everything possible to ship promptly & earn good feedback - after receiving payment I will ship by the 3rd business day since I can't always drop everything to get to the Post Office.
