Vintage Thurston Lightolier Brass Glass Atomic Hanging Light Mid Century Modern

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage Gerald Thurston for Lightolier hanging ceiling fixture.  Materials: Brass, Glass, Metal.  Circa '60s. The brass conical shade is perforated, so that light is able to shine out. The glass shade has an atomic starburst appearance, and it is somewhat textured.  The fixture still retains its original labels on the inside of the brass ceiling canopy (see photos).  This fixture will look great in any modern interior / atomic ranch style setting!
Measurements:  The fixture is approx. 9.25" tall (measured from the bottom rim of the brass conical shade to the round ceiling plate.  The glass shade is approx. 11.25" in diameter.  The conical shade is approx. 8" tall with the opening having a diameter of approx. 3.75".
Condition: Very good condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, bends, dents, dings, scratches, repairs, rust, oxidation, etc.  It's in great shape, and in working order!  As with all vintage lighting and electronics, we always strongly encourage having the item looked at by a licensed professional prior to long-term use, just to be on the safe side.
