I purchased this from a resale shop. I do not see any cracks in the glass. Some of the paint is missing on this light and this may be seen in the pictures. Considering its age the amount of paint that is missing from it is relatively small. Some of the paint that I see missing can be seen drops on the rivets and the corners of the shade. It does work but there is what appears to be old electrical tape on the wires and the wires look old to me and it appears to be needing rewiring. I am not an electrician and I have not had this light inspected by an electrician. I cleaned it song, but it could use more cleaning. I do not believe that glass is milk glass. I do not know if the globe is original to this light. The height of just the hexagonal part of the light is approximately 7 in the diameter all the light from corner to corner is approximately 21 in. Much of the metal is magnetic, but some of the parts of the light are not magnetic and I do not believe it to be brass but maybe diecast. The metal parts of the shade are magnetic and the chain is magnetic. I attached a cord to the wires so as to show that it does work and that cord is not included in the sale and the light bulb is not included in the sale. The overall length of this light is approximately 38 in. I do not care to ship this light because I do not see a way of removing the glass panels from the shade. It would be hard to place any cushioning between the glass and the shade so as to protect the glass and shipment. There is a FedEx drop off center in Ashland and I can perhaps provide the name of the business that ships FedEx. I do not care to package the light. The picture with the light lit up which may be in the second picture appears to be green and this I believe was due to the flash on my camera. Close observation in my opinion shows that it is yellow. I may have to partially disassembled it to fit it in a box.
