unusual vintage MCM Half-Dome BRAIN Chandelier Large Pendant LIGHT Great Kitsch

Here's a great mid-century modern Chandelier or Pendant Light Fixture.  It is very unusual in style. Looks like a Brain to me.....  Fixture shade measures 18" in diameter and is shaped like a half-dome. The outer portion is molded plastic with woodgrain texture.  It's shaped into graduated sizes of six-sided geometric shaped windows. A inner plastic red-orange colored layer provides a great mellow colored light in addition to lighting the area below the fixture.  Brass finial at the top is suspended from a short section of chain with the wiring.  It could lengthened by adding chain and wire. Brass ceiling escutcheon.  There's the remnants of the maker's label and all I can read is Los Angeles.  Quality piece that makes a strong statement.  It has a large 5" diameter bulb installed and it's included.  Looks like it may once have had a deflector that's now missing.   Guaranteed to please
the new owner or I'll buy it back.
