ing features 4 oz bags of shiny TRUE BLACK Huacaya Alpaca. I bought the fleece raw for my personal spinning and weaving. It has been carefully skirted, tumbled, washed, picked and carded in my home, to make it ready to spin. It had a modest amount of grass VM in an otherwise "clean" raw fleece. Washing/rinsing in net bags avoided felting. It was sun dried and opened with Viking combs. You can expect to remove a small amount of vm when carding and spinning. Staple length ranges from 2"- 5" because sunburned tips weren't removed during shearing and shortcuts under 2" were removed when found. It is soft, bouncy alpaca. One picture compares black with a heather black alpaca. Bag weight is not included. You are paying for clean open True Black alpaca clouds ready for carding and spinning.
