Triple Bypass Board
The triple bypass board is a audio/video modification combining both THS7374 RGB amplifier circuit and Ace + Villahed94's Mega Amp 2.0 audio circuit.
There are three variant of this board due to the difference in revisions in Megadrive/Genesis's audio chips. Please ensure you purchase the correct board for your system.
ASIC YM3438 - for consoles with the YM3438 audio chip (VA0 Genesis Model 2, VA1 Genesis Model 2, VA1.8 Genesis Model 2, VA3 Genesis Model 2)
GOAC (Genesis on a chip) YM3438 - for consoles with all components on a single chip (VA4 Genesis Model 2, VA1 Genesis 3, VA2 Genesis 3)
YM2612 - for consoles with the YM2612 audio chip (VA2 Genesis Model 2, VA2.3 Genesis Model 2)
Multi - Has all resistors, jumper pads to select the correct configuration of your console. Based on 3BP V2 design, but our supplier changed the audio amp to the one used in 3BP V0.3.
220uF electrolytic capacitor (C101) can be removed from this board upon request. Please add a note during checkout or message us after checkout.
