Stunning light looking for second career. From illuminating an intersection in downtown Milwaukee to a more sedate location would be an ideal and well earned transition for this proud and substantial street lamp.
In days-gone-by, simply re-wiring this light would have made it functional, but dangerous. Terminals both inside and outside of the fixture were always live, or in electrician's terminology, "HOT". Simply changing a light bulb required a trained technician.  I removed the old socket and wiring and replaced it with a brand new UL Listed 110 volt socket along with enclosed wiring to make it as safe as any light on the market today. The black cables shown are strictly for aesthetics and not actually connected to the electric supply. Shown is one of several ways the light may have been connected to a power source in the past.
The gorgous radial wave shade is 20 inches in diameter. From the bottom of the shade to the point the pipe enters the light fixture is about 15 inches. With the 12 inch pipe installed above the Crouse Hinds pass-through box, the complete fixture is 36 inches tall. I like it with a 2 inch pipe making it only 26 inches from the bottom of the shade to the ceiling. Any of the 1/2" pipes can be changed to your desired length free of charge. Any length longer than 18" can be purchased at your local Big-Box store.
The hanger is an old Benjamin spring-loaded cushioned swivel. The
hanger will let the light hang plumb even if the ceiling or electric box is not level. It also helps protect the light from vibrations, bumps and bruises.
Please feel free to ask questions prior to bidding.
I'm a very fast and careful shipper. These lights will be packed very well.
