This is the first lot from this sheep: 9.1 oz. of raw Purebred Cheviot ram Ian's fleece. #402
This fleece placed 1st in the "medium wool purebred " class at Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield , MA
Fleece has been double skirted.
Fleece has very nice crimp (see photos) and measures 5" long!
For spinning or felting, still "in the grease", but easily washed with Ivory liquid or wool scouring agent (avoid agitation and drastic temperature changes in water).
This fleece has very little vegetable matter as seen in the photos.
I have included a washed and carded rolag so you can see how nice it cards up!
