About Knotty Forest Yarn's Chai Tea Roving...
    * Knotty  Forest Yarn's own "Chai Tea" Tasmanian Merino Comeback CB Wool Roving.
    * High Quality 27.5 micron with an approximately 3" long staple, So it is next-to-skin soft wearable for most folks
    * NO DYES! ~ Natural, unbleached, undyed light Chai Tea with cream color ~ Impeccably Clean, but with some scant residual VM!
    * Sourced from Tasmanian Merino Sheep
"So What is Tasmanian Merino Comeback (CB) Wool?"
Comeback is a term for a sheep with three-fourths of its genetics from one breed and one-fourth of another. In this case, after crossing a Merino sheep with, in this case a Tasmanian breed, the offspring is crossed again with a Merino. The resulting sheep is considered a “comeback” because it has come back toward Merino.
Although Merino can be used for felting, I do not personally recommend it!
It felts only grudgingly, and can become a terrible waste of your time & money...
For Felting, may I suggest my more economical & hardy Knotty Forest Yarn's USA Natural Cream Wool Blend!
    🧡
Merino wool naturally features fine, longer fibers that one can spin into soft, yet strong, yarn.
It is ideal for spinning thin yarns, and yields wonderful stitch definition, but does not felt quite as well as regular wool.
Merino wool is an excellent choice for close fitting, next to skin soft, warm items that will be given good use, washed and loved, and will need to bounce back, holding their shape well.
Did you know that merino wool is considered to be one of the softest fibers on earth? And although considered to be one of the "Gourmet Natural Fibers", It is flame retardant, sheds water naturally & even resists staining!
