    Description

Raw Alpaca Fleece Seconds from Log Cabin Farm Vermont
This listing is for SECONDS of raw alpaca fiber.
When Alpaca are sheared, our fleece is divided into 2 grades: first quality prime and seconds.
Seconds are shorter than prime. They are mainly neck and upper leg fiber. Some people spin it, some add it to other fiber like wool, and others use it for stuffing in crafts and pet beds. It is also used to make pillows and comforters for people who are allergic to down.
This is fiber just off the alpaca after being sheared. It is not washed, it is not skirted, it is not picked through so you might find small amounts of dirt, 2nd cuts, and bits of hay/straw.
Price is .00 per pound. If you want more than one pound, put it into your cart, buy it (it will go into awaiting payment) and I will send you an invoice that includes adjusted shipping.
