The inflation mechanism on this life vest has never been triggered. I took it out on the water when I sailed on a Hobie Getaway one time and I never wound up in the water so I had no need to inflate it. It is essentially brand new, and the paper tag with instructions on how to re-arm the inflation system is still in place, proving this life vest has never been submerged. The only reason I am selling it is because I learned conventional life jackets are better for sailing on small monohulls and catamarans due to the risk of suddenly capsizing and the ease of not having to activate a life jacket. This vest is essentially in brand new condition
