THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE ENDCAP HOLE SIZE. THE OLDER GRIPS HAD A 14MM HOLE AT THE END FOR THE STOCK ENDCAPS. THE NEWER 2008 AND NEWER GRIPS HAVE A 20MM HOLE AT THE END OF THE GRIP BUT WILL ACCEPT YOUR STOCK ENDCAPS WITHOUT ANY ISSUES.
