Product Description
The Skar Audio SK8TBV is the best in class, dual voice coil, single 8-inch, premium loaded vented subwoofer enclosure. Featuring a bass tube design with a rear port for enhanced bass output, it was engineered to get loud and low. Rated conservatively at 200 Watts RMS/400 Watts max power output, this premium and compact unit is the perfect solution for someone looking to add incredible aftermarket bass to their vehicle without sacrificing a ton of space.
On top of sounding incredible, it looks stunning as well; finished in a professional grade black trunk liner and featuring a sleek protective mesh subwoofer grille. The dual 2-ohm voice coil subwoofer inside is wired to a 1-ohm final impedance load at the terminals of the enclosure. Amplifier is required to power this passive loaded enclosure, and not included (sold separately).
This enclosure was engineered by Skar Audio specifically for the subwoofer that is loaded in it, ensuring perfect sound and compatibility. Every subwoofer is different, and it is so critical when buying a subwoofer to ensure that the subwoofer and enclosure are an ideal match, or you will lose sound quality and output. With this loaded subwoofer enclosure model, all of those concerns are eliminated, making it easier than ever to add powerful aftermarket bass to your vehicle.

Founded in early 2012 by the current CEO, Kevin Schlenker, Skar Audio has grown from just a hobby, into a business that now employs a full time staff of nearly 20 people. Since day one, our focus as a company has been to design and engineer products that are constantly raising the bar and defining new limits. Skar Audio is located in the heart of the manufacturing district in Tampa, Florida. Our headquarters is home to the proud staff of nearly 20 people, who are audiophiles themselves and love to serve our customers everyday. With our facility being over 17,000 sq ft, and featuring show rooms, testing rooms, a new product development center, as well our warehouse and offices; we are happy to offer tours to local or visiting enthusiasts and customers to show them what we are all about. We take the hands on approach in delivering value to everyone we deal with, and maintain an open door policy at the office.
