    Blue Face Leicester Wool
    is a joy to Spin!

One of easiest fibers to spin. Quite
    Lofty, soft, yet strong!
.  Also available in Superwash and Superwash Blue Face Leicester blended with nylon - Great for Socks Yarns!
    Corriedale "Colonial"
Easy to spin wool. Good Staple length approximately 5 inches!   Colonial wool is sourced from South America, where wool is graded and sold by a standard rather than by breed.  Colonial is very similar to the Corriedale Wool breed.

    Perendale.
Natural White Micron 28-35, Staple length approx. 5 inches. Natural white. A good all purpose wool, strong but light in weight for knitting and weaving.
    Romney Roving
Natural White Micron 31-38, Staple length approx. 6 inches. The most versatile fleece with even crimp and noticeable luster for all purposes
    .
    Wensleydale:
Blue faced luster longwool. 30-36 microns staple length 7 inches. 180 mm. Shiny wool that takes dye very well, producing intense rich colors.
    Superwash Wools.
Superwash does not shrink or felt.
Wool has been treated with a thin polymer to flatten the fiber preventing it from shrinking or felting. Machine Wash gentle. If hand dyeing superwash top, handle wool carefully. Once wet wool fibers tend to slip apart. I put the wool in lingerie bags before wetting.

    Brown Jacob
Jacob sheep AKA spotted sheep. The brown select Jacob wool has been hand picked from the fleece and processed to keep the rich brown color. The micron count ranges between 25-35. Jacob is easy to spin and produces a springy yarn.
    English Herdwick
Sheep's wool has a subtle varying shades of grey prized in grey tweeds, knitwear and hand knitting wools, which are hard wearing, non-fading and completely natural.
    Gotland Grey
This wool is from the Gotland Island, Sweden.
Wool is 35 microns, 6½ inch staple length.  Lustrous, beautiful silvery shiny top. Felts fast and easy!   The breed was first established on the Swedish island of Gotland by the Vikings with Karakul and Romanov sheep brought back from expeditions deep into Russia and crossed with the native landrace sheep.
