Overview:
Every MSD Ignition is designed for performance use but the Extreme Duty 6ALN is ready to take on nearly any harsh performance environment! Originally designed with NASCAR in mind, the 6ALN is equipped with the mandatory 6-Pin Weather tight connector to meet NASCAR’s ignition wiring rule, 20-6.1. This special connector provides a tight, positive locking connection with individual seals to keep dirt and moisture away from each connection. All of the MSD’s primary wiring meets MIL-86A specifications with special tinned conductors for superior crimps. Inside the strong cast aluminum housing, the multiple sparking CD circuits are encased in a clear two part silicone elastomer for the ultimate in vibration protection. A special clear base plate is also installed for easy tech inspection. The 6ALN has a built-in Rev Control. These rev controls are adjustable with plug-in modules and will save your engine from over-rev damage caused by missed shifts or driveline failure. This unit has been tested to factory standards and ships complete.

Factory Reconditioned products consist of products that were originally sold new, or sent out as demo units, these products were then returned, sometimes without even being opened. Once we receive a product back, it is tested and then reconditioned to original factory specifications by Manufacturer-trained technicians. The testing process assures that the product meets the same stringent quality standards that are required for new products.
Since these products may show signs of a previous installation, minor wear or other cosmetic defect our policy is not to sell them as new.  Rather than scrapping them, we are making them directly available to the public.  Not only does this help us control the costs of our new products, it allows you to get a great deal on a like-new product!

Warranty & Return Policy
MSD Factory Refurbished products are warranted for a period of 90 days from date of sale for defects in material and workmanship. Any defective items will be repaired or replaced at MSD’s discretion.
In the unlikely event you have a problem with your Factory Reconditioned product, please call MSD's tech line at (915) 855-7123, Should a tech service associate determine that it is necessary to return the item for repair or replacement, you will be given instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA).
Buyer is responsible for return shipping; however, MSD will cover shipping the repaired or replaced item back to the buyer.
Expedited freight may be available upon request and at buyer’s expense.
This Factory Reconditioned Warranty supersedes any new product warranty that may be included in your kit.
