This listing includes an amplifier and a replacement 1 watt speaker to take advantage of the amplified signal. This is significantly louder than stock but do note a power cleaner/additional capacitors are recommended as any background hiss/white noise is going to be amplified as well. This is true of any amplifier for these consoles. To install, I have included some photos showing how to wire it up. For the GBA, you can attach the board on top of the built in amplifier and it will fit without needing to modify your consoles shell. For gameboy color it’s best placed behind the speaker.
