Italy 1960's signed made in Italy. An uncommon model from Fabio Lenci for Guzzini. Provides an unexpected glow of illumination above the center line of the sphere through refraction in the lens - the same acrylic lens used in the focus series floor lamp. The top of the pendant is chromed plastic as well the ceiling cap. The diameter is 14" and the total drop is 48" and this can be shortened. We have taken a photo with this lamp being the only light source and you can see that while 75% of the light is directed down into a room, a good portion of the light makes its way up the walls and ceiling through the refraction process with a soft graduation. Can take a single bulb up to 300 watts. In good condition with minor pitting to the chrome and some loss of white paint of the interior of the lamp semi-circle diffuser. Wiring has been checked and is excellent.
