Early Electric Hanging Light Fixture

Description

This fixture hangs down 19” from the ceiling to the tip of the shade. The ceiling canopy is 4 1/2” in diameter. The shade measures 3 1/4” at the shade holder and it is 6 1/2” tall. It is made of frosted glass with a very fancy wheel cut design of swags & stars. The shade is in perfect condition. The Paiste early electric socket has porcelain insides and the cardboard insulator is in wonderful condition. However, the braided cloth electric wiring is frayed down to bare copper. It will need to be rewired. The 3 1/4” shade holder & ceiling canopy are brass. The chain is brass plated steel. The canopy is in good condition, but it is tarnished badly. There are two screws that are original to the fixture that fasten it to the ceiling.
