It’s time for me to downsize my smoke-free, pet-friendly home craft studio collection to something I might have a chance to finish in one or two lifetimes! I’m hoping to find eBaying stitchers out there, ready to sit down with their spinning wheels to 'spin a fine yarn' for an anticipated project, simultaneously keeping hands busy in these difficult times.
Spinning has been the craft I picked up last, but has turned into my most productive one, channeling zen-filled hours into producing my own yarn for my knitting.  But I've got extra materials in this discipline, as in my needle working pursuits, so I'm offering this gorgeous 4 Oz 75/25 Merino and Tencel roving

I've had stored in my pet-friendly, smoke-free fiber storage room.
This lovely medium-soft hand roving really needs a new home, where it can fulfill its' promise of beautiful yarn, Hand Dyed in colors that remind me of Oreo Mint Ice Cream.
My favorite use for most of fiber I spin is in afghans and outer wear. The fiber has a pretty soft 'hand', but I would caution against using it for in next-to-skin projects, particularly if the wearer is particularly sensitive to animal hair
. Generally, I knit my spun wool, but I know many weavers who spin for the purpose of making up woven products, as well.
What a blessing to be able to turn our unexpectedly idle hours into productive ones!
