This American Style Black IPA, also known as Cascadian Dark Ale, balances moderate roast character with medium-high hop bitterness. Briess Special Dark extract, Victory® and 80L malt provide a moderate degree of caramel malt character. The medium-high hop bitterness is balanced by bold hop flavor and aroma courtesy of ZYTHOS™. This one-of-a-kind premium hop is specifically blended for the exceptional hop flavor and aroma that you expect in American Style IPAs.  ZYTHOS’s™ distinct tropical citrus and slight pine characteristics complement the roasted malt flavor and aroma of this India Black Ale.
