BELA LUGOSI RARE PRISONERS GROSSET & DUNLAP BK W DJ 1929 CORINNE GRIFFITH

this is a very hard to find bela lugosi item.
it's a grosset & dunlap edition book for the 1929 film, prisoners.
film starred corinne griffith & bela lugosi.
based on a novel by franz molnar.
1st one we've ever had.
the book has its original dust jacket.
bela lugosi is pictured on the dust jacket.
B&W photos inside.
lugosi is also pictured on one of those photos.
and, he's pictured on the back endpapers.
both images of lugosi inside the book are great looking.
the back endpaper has a raised mark, but it's not on the pg w lugosi.
the image of lugosi on the dust jacket has rubbing, but his image shows thru very nicely.
the imagery on the dust jacket is very strong.
please note however - the dust jacket is damaged.
damage includes -
inside flap detached.
edges have many tears/chips.
the B&W photos inside the book are in very nice condition.
the front endpapers are a large paper pull in the bottom areas.
however, the images do show thru very nicely - damage not near faces.
so, as noted, the dj & the front endpapers have damage.
but, the imagery of lugosi is terrific & the book is hard to find in any condition.
