25.5" inch scale length neck with a basic head stock is ready for a 3 or 4 string cigar box guitar. We cut head
recess
to 5/8“ thick. Simply drill tuner holes, install your tuners. Neck is made of quality  Black walnut

Back edges of neck have been rounded with a 3/8" router up to the 15
th
fret.
Neck is  1. 1/2" wide ,
there is 12." (or more) from end of last fret to tail end that is blank space to work with just about any standard cigar box size with enough room left over for your tail piece design.
Neck is
finished
with 120 fine grit sandpaper.
Our necks may have a light bow
. When they do, we make sure to always cut the head stock so that the head stock is bowed back instead of forward. This can actually be a good, when the strings are on the neck they will be more resilient to the string tension.
NOTE:
The Cigar box guitar necks we make
are hand-made
so there may be blemishes. That's part of the charm and character of a Cigar Box Guitar
