were made by their famous
silversmiths in the earlier part of the twentieth century and are decorated with an elegant pattern of parallel lines of varying widths in an
Art Deco
style. And if you no longer need a sophisticated pair of buckles for your shoes, they can be used as scarf fasteners!
What a beautiful accessory to hold you scarf in place. Napkin rings? Yes, that too!
They remain in
very good antique condition
and are script engraved "Eleanor, September 7, 1927" to the undersides.
