Description
Up for auction today is an Original 1994 Pearl Jam Vitalogy "PROMO Flat" Poster in NM-MINT Condition! This poster measures 12" x 12" and is double sided. These posters were sent to record stores for Promotional purposes and were not available for sale. Large stores were sent dozens for 3D display builds while small stores were sent one or two.This poster came from Tracks
- Bloomington (Indiana University) IN. They had a small interior display set up the night before the release date of November 22nd, 1994.
I inquired with the sales staff about getting a poster when the display was taken down. I left my name & sometime in January 1995 the display was taken down & thankfully a few posters were
waiting for me when I came back into the store. Poster has been stored flat
in a temperature controlled storage unit since mid 1995. Now its time for another fan to have it...
Condition:
This 27yr old poster looks as though it was never used, there are no staple or tape marks. Please see Pics #1 & #6 for a true representation of what the poster will look like on your wall. The pics of the corners are meant to inform you the condition of corners. These corner pics may show shadows or glare but do not actually have any discoloration whatsoever on the poster. Please also see Pic #11... The Gold Foil on this poster is pristine, I've seen many of these where the gold has flaked away due to rubbing with other posters. Please also notice the fine detail in the brown book cover image, its so vivid you can't believe it doesn't feel like a basketball when you touch it.
Based on Condition, I am giving this Poster an 9.8 out of 10.
