    Description

    SOLD INDIVIDUALLY
    ONE LIGHT PER PURCHASE.
    4 AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME
No more mounting problems. No more not being able to have the light you want due to no in-wall electrical boxes where you need them. This light has two mounting flanges that allow your light to be easily screwed into the wall, ceiling or anywhere else you would like it! It can also be used for a table lamp. Just set it down and plug it in! The lights come with a clear globe but a limited number of colored globes are available for additional cost.
These substantial lights weigh in at a hefty eight pounds each and are almost 10 inches tall.
The lights were removed from an old utility tunnel at the Kentucky Dam. Kentucky Dam was completed and its gates closed on August 30, 1944, and its first generator went online September 14, 1944.
I completely disassembled the lights, cleaned and inspected all the parts. I then  bead-blasted the cast iron electric boxes and the body of the light. The iron was primed and painted, utilizing industrial paint. The aluminum cages were simply cleaned as were the thick and heavy protective glass globes. The sockets were cleaned, inspected and re-wired with 14 gauge 3-wire heavy-duty cord. A good, solid ground was achieved without drilling any extra holes.  The cord exits the lamp base through a high quality strain-relief 90 degree elbow. The socket was then re-installed  using a new gasket and original brass screws.
The Original Crouse Hinds Globes are embossed with the company name and V75. The cages or guards are embossed with V911.
A limited amount of colored globes are available in place of clear. Blue, green and possibly red or amber are currently in stock.
No expense was spared during the restoration of these amazing vintage lights. I  tend to each and every one as if I was restoring it for public exhibition...I'm extremely proud of my work.
Light will be shipped in pieces to insure safe arrival; re-assembly is EASILY accomplished by purchaser.
These guys are heavy. The buyer will contribute 19.99 towards the shipping costs. Additional lights will ship for .99 each.
I suggest that all electrical items  be checked and installed by a professional electrician.
